Restoration Project
Plant For Future, One Tree at a Time
Join us on a journey to bring Sri Lanka’s vibrant ecosystems back to life! Plant for Future, a collaborative effort between The Biodiversity Project and Rainforest Protectors Sri Lanka (RPSL), is on a mission to restore the beauty and biodiversity lost to deforestation.
Our First Stop: Balangoda Rajawaka
We’re setting roots in the stunning Balangoda, Rajawaka, a region yearning to reclaim its former glory. But this is just the beginning! We envision a future where countless areas across Sri Lanka echo with the symphony of life.
Planting Hope, Growing Change
Our goal is ambitious – planting over 1,000 trees in the next 5 years. To achieve this, we’ll be hosting exciting reforestation drives three times a year. Imagine rolling up your sleeves alongside fellow nature enthusiasts, witnessing the magic of planting a tree, and knowing you’re contributing to a greener future for Sri Lanka.
Become a Changemaker
Plant for Future isn’t just about planting trees – it’s about empowering you to be a part of the solution. Be the change you wish to see in the world. Join our reforestation projects, spread the word, and together, let’s watch Sri Lanka’s landscapes flourish once again!
